From 24 to 29 June 2019, Department of Foreign Affairs - Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) coordinated with the Embassies of Vietnam in London (the UK) and Berlin (Germany), and related agencies of these two countries to hold Vietnam locality promotion program 2019 in the UK and Germany, with the participation of 3 provinces including Yen Bai, Lang Son and Dak Lak. Yen Bai working delegation led by Mr. Duong Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Parliament delegation included representatives and heads of some relevant Departments and agencies.

On 15 August, the working delegation of LG Electronics Vietnam Haiphong Co., Ltd (LG Haiphong) led by Mr. Ko Myung Eon – General Director of LG Haiphong visited and worked in Yen Bai and signed the MoU on enhancing and expanding the investment cooperation relationship between the two sides on the basis of long-term and sustainable cooperation.
