Yen Bai province received and worked with the delegation of Xayabury province (Lao PDR)

In the framework of the cooperative Agreement in 2019 between Yen Bai province and Xayabury province (Lao PDR), on 22 July 2019, the working delegation of Xayabury province led by Phetphixay Sounvilay – Member of the provincial Party Committee, Chief of Office of the provincial People’s Committee visited and paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Do Duc Duy – Chairman of Yen Bai provincial People’s Committee (PPC).

Chairman of the PPC Do Duc Duy affirmed the great comprehensive cooperation relations between the two provinces. He also expected to promote cooperative programs to take the relations between the two provinces to a new level. On this occasion, Mr. Duy presented 10 sets of computers to the working delegation of Xayabury province.

Chief of Office of Xayabury provincial People’s Committee Phetphixay Sounvilay thanked for Yen Bai’s support to Xayabury during the past time; especially the aid of 3 billion dong for buying hemodialysis machines, medical equipment in the provincial hospital and for construction of office building of Xayabury provincial Department of Foreign Affairs. 

In the same day, the delegation worked with Office of the provincial Party Committee, Office of the provincial National Assembly Delegation – People’s Council – People’s Committee, Yen Bai provincial Department of Foreign Affairs to discuss and share experience in specialized work and management, the implementation of rearrangement, organizational restructuring, downsizing of payrolls, deployment of international and foreign cooperation activities, etc.
